My name is Ariadne (pronounced Ar-e-OD-na), and I also go by Ari. I have served as a Reference Archivist for the Missouri State Archives since August 2018. In my work, I focus on providing reference and research services to genealogists, historians, and state workers. It is a pleasure to connect people to the resources they need and to serve in preserving and sharing the fascinating history of our state. I learn something new practically every day!
I earned my Master of Library Science and Master of Information Science from Indiana University Bloomington. My background includes a range of experiences in special collections libraries and library technologies. I have also applied creativity and awareness of current discussions in communications roles for the Society of American Archivists Students and New Archivists Roundtable and Electronic Records Steering Committees.
Please feel free to contact me if you would to learn more or have ideas to share.
