My name is Ariadne (pronounced ar-e-OD-na), and I also go by Ari. In my present role as a Reference Archivist for the Missouri State Archives I focus on meeting the information needs of genealogists, historians, and members of state government. It is an honor to share the fascinating history of our state and to serve a role in the public availability of state records.
I earned my Master of Library Science and Master of Information Science from Indiana University Bloomington. My background includes a range of experiences in special collections libraries and library technologies. I have also applied creativity and awareness of current discussions in communications roles for the Society of American Archivists Students and New Archivists Roundtable and Electronic Records Steering Committee.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or ideas I might assist with.
